This is a book about wanting to be an artist while being a graphic designer and wanting to be a graphic designer while being an artist.

The book is 64 pages, containing 64 artists and 64 graphic designers, all from my bookshelf. It was made in one go, and could have been in any order, depending on the day.

Each artist and graphic designer in this book has meaning to me, exemplified by Yoko Ono and Josef Müller-Brockmann on the cover.

Mike Mills and Miranda July, are partners in real life. Page spread 30–31 also includes Mikes teacher, Hans Haacke as well as Tibor Kalman, who Mike briefly worked for at M&Co. It seems narrative is impossible to escape, even if I try.
